Western Maryland Homeschool Choir
A musical treat for homeschoolers!
WESTER MARYLAND HOMESCHOOL CHOIR
Western Maryland Homeschool Choir is a part of the Western
Maryland Homeschool Association. It is for any homeschoolers
from the ages of 5 years to 18 years old, male or female. It is
held at the Virginia Ave. Baptist Church in Hagerstown, MD.
each Thursdsay at 2:00.. Cost is $ 50.00 for the first student,
$40.00 for the next sibling, $30.00 for the next and then
FREE for any more in the family wishing to be in the choir
and get the many valuable lessons from it. This price is for a
semester: from now till Dec. 31. Enrollment is closed for this
sesmester. Please see ENROLMENT belwo form some more
info for next sesmester.
We will be using several types
of music and will incorporate some foreign language skills in by
learning a few songs in other languages as well as incorporating
some dance moves into the music to keep things exciting for the
children and teens.
MEET RUTH....OUR CHOIR DIRECTOR
The choir director, Ruth, is also a German Language instructor and piano
instructor. She has many teaching credentials and has taught choirs for
many years. It is her passion and she is full of energy which makes her a
perfect Homeschoool Choir instructor. She brings many other lessons to
the children along with the music. The children will learn what makes
their voices travle and learn how to mamke it do many diffrent things.
Children love it and love her for letting them be children in a sense they
can do neat things with their voices!
We are fortunate to have such a dedicated and accredited choir instructor
willing to work with our choir!
ENROLLMENT
We had an open enrollment period now until Oct. 1st, 2009.
Look for our next enroolment periond after in January, 2010.
Not every child likes to be in a choral setting. There fore, we
have always set up so they can come to one rehearsal...even two free , .
before making a commitment for the semester.
Payment is due at the time of enrollment.
